Update your bathroom for a thousand dollars

Remodeling your bathroom is a popular way to add value to your home.  The photo shown is a powder room on a 1983 home.  The bathroom is small and has the original cultured marble countertop.  The owner wanted to renovate the bathroom without spending a lot of money.  The renovation budget was $1000.  The goal was to make the bathroom look more modern.  They decide to go with a TashMart Flower Petal Vessel Sink in White Marble. White is currently a very popular color for bathroom and kitchen renovations. They removed the cultured marble top and replaced with a white marble countertop to match the sink.  They also painted the cabinet grey and the walls a very light grey.  The owner paid a company to remove the countertop and install the marble top, but the rest of the work was done by the owner.  The breakdown of the cost is shown below.
